The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that they have recalled forward Lukas Reichel from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League and placed goaltender Petr Mrazek (groin) on injured reserve retroactive to Dec. 3. In addition, forward Jonathan Toews will not play in tonight's game due to a non-COVID related illness.
Reichel, 20, shares second on the IceHogs with 10 goals and 23 points in 19 games this season. He has nine points (4G, 5A) over his last five-straight games with Rockford.
The Chicago Blackhawks will play the New Jersey Devils tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. CT at the Prudential Center. The game can be seen on NBC Sports Chicago and heard on WGN Radio.
