In conjunction with official television broadcasting partners NBC Sports Chicago and WGN-TV Channel 9, the Chicago Blackhawks today announced its 2018-19 regular-season local television schedule. Locally, 71 Blackhawks games will air on NBC Sports Chicago and WGN-TV. The 11 remaining games will be broadcast exclusively on NBC (including NBC and NBCSN).
Chicago's 14th consecutive campaign on NBC Sports Chicago features 51 contests, beginning with the team's home-opener on October 7 vs. Toronto at 6:00 p.m. "Blackhawks Pregame Live" will air prior to every game on NBC Sports Chicago, with "Blackhawks Postgame Live" immediately following each contest. In addition, for the second-straight season, NBC Sports Chicago will also be carrying "Blackhawks Pre/Postgame Live" coverage before and after all contests airing on other networks. All NBC Sports Chicago games can also be streamed live online at NBCSportsChicago.com and the NBC Sports app.

The Blackhawks' 11th consecutive season on WGN-TV launches with the season-opener on October 4 at Ottawa at 6:30 p.m. Chicago makes 20 appearances on the station, which was also its home from 1961 to 1975. Pat Foley (play-by-play), Eddie Olczyk (analyst) and Steve Konroyd (analyst) will provide the coverage on both NBCSCH and WGN-TV broadcasts, all of which can be seen in high definition.
Every regular-season game in 2018-19 can also be heard on the radio home of the Blackhawks, WGN Radio AM-720, with John Wiedeman (play-by-play) and Troy Murray (analyst) calling the action. All six of Chicago's preseason contests will be carried on television for the fourth straight year. One Blackhawks preseason game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago (September 21 at Ottawa), in addition to three games on NBC Sports Chicago Plus (September 18 at Columbus, September 25 vs. Detroit and September 27 vs. Ottawa) and two contests on WGN-TV (September 20 at Detroit and September 29 vs. Columbus).
