The Blackhawks are 10-6-0 over their last 16 games against the Blue Jackets since 2019-20. Against his former team on Friday, forward Ryan Donato notched two goals and now has points (2G, 1A) in back-to-back games. Donato now has 10 goals in 21 games this season, which continues to lead all Blackhawks skaters. He is set to play in his 100th career game as a Blackhawk on Sunday against Columbus. Since joining the club in 2023-24, Donato's 22 goals and 44 points each rank fourth among all team skaters over that span.

Forward Connor Bedard tallied an assist against Minnesota and now has points (1G, 1A) in back-to-back games and four points (1G, 3A) over his last five games. With his assist on Friday, Bedard (26G, 52A) surpassed Bobby Hull (24G, 53A) For the third-most career points by a Blackhawks teenager and now trails Eddie Olczyk (49G, 80A) and Patrick Kane (29G, 65A).

VLASIC ROCK

On Friday afternoon, defenseman Alex Vlasic recorded an assist and now ranks second among all team skaters with nine helpers in 23 games this season. He is five assists shy of tying his career-high from the 2023-24 campaign (14A). He also chipped in a blocked shot against Minnesota and now ranks eighth among all NHL skaters with 58 blocked shots this season.
