TONIGHT'S MATCHUP

Chicago heads to Dallas for the second of four meetings between the two clubs this season. Tyler Bertuzzi has five points (2G, 3A) over his last four games against the Stars. Connor Bedard has goals (2G) in back-to-back games against the Stars and points (2G, 1A) in his last three-straight games against the club. During their last meeting on Oct. 26, Pat Maroon posted two assists, while Ryan Donato and Bedard each scored once during a 4-2 loss to the Stars.

LAST TIME OUT

Despite outshooting Detroit 29-25 in the game, the Blackhawks dropped a 4-1 decision to the Red Wings on Wednesday evening at the United Center. Nick Foligno found the back of the net. Tyler Bertuzzi notched his first assist of the season. Connor Murphy also added an assist. Seth Jones led all game skaters with five hits and now ranks third among all club blueliners with 14 hits this season. Alex Vlasic recorded four blocked shots to lead all game skaters. As a team, Chicago posted 22 hits to just seven hits for the Red Wings.

FLIG OF THE WRIST

Blackhawks captain Nick Foligno scored against Detroit on Wednesday and now has two goals over his last three games. He now ranks second on the team with five goals in 15 games this season. Foligno also ranked second among all game skaters with four hits against Detroit and continues to lead the Blackhawks with 45 hits in the 2024-25 campaign.

MURPH'S UP

Defenseman Connor Murphy posted an assist against the Red Wings and now has four assists over his last five games. He now shares second on the team with seven assists in 14 games this season. His seven helpers are the most Murphy's recorded in a single-season since the 2020-21 campaign (12A). He also registered three blocked shots against Detroit, which shared second among all game skaters.

INSTANT VLASSIC

On Wednesday against Detroit, defenseman Alex Vlasic tallied four blocked shots and now shares fourth among all leaque skaters with 40 blocked shots in 14 games this season. He also posted 25:01 of time on ice against the Red Wings, which ranked second among all game skaters (Seth Jones).
