Give back and win big with the 50/50 Raffle

The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation has teamed up with non-profit organizations in the Central Ohio community to assist in their fundraising efforts. The 50/50 Raffle program, presented by KEMBA Financial Credit Union, provides an opportunity for eligible non-profit organizations to raise funds during Blue Jackets hockey games.

The 50/50 Raffle will take place during all regular season home games. One lucky fan with the winning ticket number will receive 50% of the total sales, and the remaining 50% will be split between the partnering non-profit and the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation. Every purchase benefits the Blue Jackets Foundation's work in the community to support the health and wellness of children in central Ohio.

How it works:

  • Fans can purchase raffle tickets from roaming sellers inside Nationwide Arena or online at bluejackets5050.com.
  • Online sales will start at 9 AM, and in-person sales will begin inside Nationwide Arena when doors open to the public.
  • All sales will conclude by the end of 2nd intermission.
  • The winning ticket numbers will be announced and displayed on the video board during the 3rd period of Blue Jackets home games, as well as posted on this page at the link above.
  • Winners have 30 days to claim their prize.

  • The point of contact must attend a mandatory information session prior to the season in late September. Failure to attend will result in the non-profit organization being removed from the raffle program.
  • The selected non-profit organization will be responsible for coordinating volunteer schedules and attendance.
  • Successful 50/50 raffles are dependent on volunteer participation, organizations that are unable to provide the required number of volunteers will not receive their full 25% of raffle proceeds and may also put future fundraising opportunities at risk.
  • All volunteers must be 18 years or older.
  • All volunteers are asked to arrive 2 hours before the start of the game for brief training and will be selling raffle tickets until the end of the second intermission.
  • Example of volunteer time commitment: For a 7 PM game, volunteers will arrive at 5 PM and sell until the end of the 2nd intermission at approximately 9 PM.
  • Nationwide Arena is a cashless arena, so all raffle ticket sales are done by card only, with no cash handling taking place.
