Greaves, 21, has posted a 28-26-9 record with a 3.06 goals-against average (GAA), .900 save percentage (SV%) and two shutouts in 67 career AHL games with the Monsters since making his pro debut in 2021-22. The 6-0, 184-pound native of Cambridge, Ontario is 16-14-5 with a 3.23 GAA, .895 SV% and one shutout in 38 appearances with the club in 2022-23. He was signed by the Blue Jackets to a three-year, entry level contract on Feb. 20, 2022.
Gillies, 29, who was acquired by the Blue Jackets in a trade from the Arizona Coyotes on March 2, became the sixth netminder to win his team debut in franchise history after stopping 19-of-22 shots in a 4-3 overtime win over Ottawa on Sunday. He has gone 8-15-3 with a 3.29 GAA and .893 SV% in 33 career NHL contests with the Blue Jackets, Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues and New Jersey Devils since making his NHL debut in 2016-17. The 6-6, 223-pound netminder has gone 5-8-2 with a 3.70 GAA and .878 SV% in 15 appearances with the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners. In 184 career AHL games, the Concord, New Hampshire native has gone 78-71-22 with a 2.94 GAA, .904 SV% and nine shutouts since making his professional debut during the 2015-16 season. Gillies was originally drafted by the Flames in the third round, 75th overall, at the 2012 NHL Draft.
