The Blue Jackets' roster for Monday night's fifth preseason game in Buffalo will be long on NHL talent as the Blue Jackets start getting closer to the opener Oct. 14 vs. Arizona.
Every player on the 20-man roster other than goalie Daniil Tarasov practiced Sunday with the team's NHL group. The game against the Sabres also will mark the preseason debuts of two CBJ veterans, Gus Nyquist (who missed last year with a shoulder injury) and Joonas Korpisalo (lower-body injury early in camp).
The Blue Jackets will play the Sabres on Monday before returning to Nationwide Arena on Wednesday night to take on Detroit.
