Wednesday, July 5
11 a.m. - Prospects Game
The players participating in this year's camp will feature team prospects and players selected in the 2023 NHL Draft, which will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, June 28-29, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
Leading the group of prospects in camp are 2021 first round pick defenseman Corson Ceulemans (25th overall) and 2022 first round selection defenseman Denton Mateychuk (12th overall). A complete development camp roster will be available prior to the start of camp.
On-Ice sessions will be conducted by assistant coaches Kenny McCudden, Steve McCarthy and Jared Boll, goaltending coach Nicklas Backstrom, development coaches Jarkko Ruutu, Derek Dorsett and Brad Thiessen, the Cleveland Monsters (American Hockey League affiliate) coaching staff and skating consultant Lee Harris.
In addition, Ohio State women's head coach Nadine Muzerall, as well as two coaches from Denmark, Nikolaj Kielland and Nichlas Hardt, will serve as a guest coaches during the camp. Muzerall has led the Buckeyes to back-to-back National Championship games in 2022 and 2023, including winning the university's first championship in 2022.
