Columbus Blue Jackets General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today that restricted free agent left wing Eric Robinson has accepted the club's qualifying offer for the 2019-20 National Hockey League/American Hockey League season.
Robinson, 24, registered 18 shots, while averaging 11:50 of ice time in 13 games with the Blue Jackets in 2018-19. He added 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points with 15 penalty minutes, a +3 plus/minus rating and 90 shots in 45 contests with the AHL's Cleveland Monsters. He led all Monsters rookies in assists and ranked second in goals (tied), points and plus/minus rating.

The Bellmawr, New Jersey native made his NHL debut on April 7, 2018 at Nashville. Prior to turning pro, he recorded 39-28-67 and 74 penalty minutes in 128 career games at Princeton University (ECAC) from 2014-18. As a senior in 2017-18, the 6-2, 201-pound winger set career highs with 17-14-31 and 44 penalty minutes in 36 games and served as the team's captain.
