That's just the way things are going right now for the Blue Jackets, who have won five of six going into
tonight's game at St. Louis
that kicks off a four-game road trip. There are some good vibes for the Blue Jackets right now, but that can only take you so far -- Larsen was happy to see the Jackets grind out a win last night, but he wants to see a better version of the team's game tonight.
"I don't know why, and it was so many guys that didn't have legs," he said of Friday night's game. "It wasn't just one or two guys. Why? I don't know. We all want the answer. If we had answers, it wouldn't come to that, but the most important thing is we grinded out a win and we found a way to get two points in a game we probably for all intents and purposes didn't deserve to win. But in the 82 games, you're going to have to find a way to win games."
And if there's good news, you can try to make any tweaks or changes while still feeling good about getting two points.
"I think as a team you are just aware it wasn't the best game, but we still came away with two points and that's obviously huge," Oliver Bjorkstrand said. "You can wake up feeling a little bit better about it, but we know that wasn't good enough. We didn't play very well. If you look at the overall game, it probably wasn't a game we really deserved, but we found a way to get away with it and that's the positive."
