Blue Jackets recall Jakob Lilja, Ryan MacInnis from Cleveland

The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled left wing Jakob Lilja and added center Ryan MacInnis to the roster on emergency recall from the Cleveland Monsters, Columbus' American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.
Lilja, 26, made his NHL debut in the Blue Jackets' 2019-20 season opener on October 4 against Toronto and has recorded 0-2-2 and 11 shots, while averaging 8:45 of ice time in 10 appearances. He registered his first career NHL assist on October 16 vs. Dallas. He has added 4-5-9 in 18 games with the Monsters this season, including 2-3-5 in his past five outings.
The Malmo, Sweden native notched 48-51-99 with 71 penalty minutes and a +14 plus/minus rating in 222 career Swedish Hockey League contests from 2012-19. He set career highs in assists and points with 12-25-37 in 52 appearances with Djurgardens IF in 2018-19. The winger signed a one-year entry level contract with Columbus on June 15, 2019.
MacInnis, 23, has recorded 21-49-70 and 127 penalty minutes in 228 career AHL games with the Monsters, Tucson Roadrunners and Springfield Falcons since making his pro debut in 2015-16. He ranks second on the Monsters in assists and fourth in points this season with 3-12-15 and 16 penalty minutes, while playing in all 28 contests.
The St. Louis, Missouri native set career highs in assists, points and games played in 2018-19, collecting 4-20-24, 39 penalty minutes and +2 plus/minus rating in 71 contests with the Monsters. MacInnis was selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the second round, 43rd overall, at the 2014 NHL Draft. He was acquired by the Blue Jackets in a trade with the Coyotes on July 18, 2018.
