COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets made several moves to reduce their roster to 23 players heading into Thursday's season opener vs. the Boston Bruins, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Centers Gregory Campbell, T.J. Tynan and Alex Wennberg have been assigned to the Cleveland Monsters, the Blue Jackets' American League affiliate. In addition, defenseman Cody Goloubef has been placed on injured reserve and will be sidelined week-to-week with an oblique strain.
The club also announced that right wing David Clarkson (back), defenseman Jacob Graves (knee), defenseman Dillon Heatherington (wrist), right wing Keegan Kolesar (supra-umbilical hernia), goaltender Joonas Korpisalo (groin) and defenseman John Ramage (shoulder) have been placed on the Injured Non-Roster list.
The Blue Jackets will kick off their 16th NHL season on Thursday, October 13 against the Bruins. Game time is 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:00 p.m. The game will also be broadcast live on the Scioto Downs Blue Jackets Radio Network, including Sports Radio 97.1 FM, and online at BlueJackets.com.
