DALLAS - After speculation about possibly trading up or down, the Blue Jackets kept their pick and used it to add center depth to their system.
Columbus selected Liam Foudy, a center with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League with the 18th pick in the 2018 NHL Draft on Friday night at American Airlines Center.
The pick was announced by defenseman Seth Jones, who's from nearby Arlington and grew up playing hockey in Dallas.
