Foudy, 18, recorded 24 goals and 16 assists for 40 points with 22 penalty minutes in 65 games with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League in 2017-18. He led the club in shorthanded goals (five) and ranked third in goals and game-winning goals (four, tied) and was fourth in points. The campaign was highlighted by a 13-game span in which he tallied 14 goals from Feb. 9 - Mar. 7 (14-8-22). He added 1-1-2 in four postseason contests.
A native of Scarborough, Ontario, Foudy has collected 33-22-55 and 41 penalty minutes in 123 career OHL games with the Knights. In 2016-17, he tallied 9-6-15, 19 penalty minutes and was +1 in 58 contests in his first OHL campaign. He was selected by London in the first round, 18th overall, in the 2016 OHL Priority Draft.
The 6-0, 175-pound center has represented Canada internationally on several occasions. He posted 2-2-4 in five games at the 2018 IIHF Under-18 World Championships in Russia and collected 0-3-3 in six contests for Canada White at the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. He is currently participating in Canada's camp at the 2018 Sport Chek World Junior Showcase in Kamloops, British Columbia from July 28-August 4, the first step to represent the nation at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championships in Vancouver and Victoria.
