Kids Takeover SK

It's time to catch up on all the latest hockey news, memes and more in this week's edition of Social Roundup, presented by Truly Hard Seltzer!

The kids took over on Sunday and they killed it! Here are some of our favorite highlights from this year's Kids Takeover Day.

Here's Patrik Laine in Crocs. That's it.

It doesn't get better than Gavy content, especially mic'd up Gavy content. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

Jack Roslovic was chosen as the Blue Jackets' 2021-22 Community MVP for his foundation, Rosie's Gear for Goals, which gives back to the community that helped him become who he is today. Roslovic is also on a tear, having scored nine times in the last seven games.

The Blue Jackets are going to Finland! As part of the NHL Global Series, the Jackets will take on the Colorado Avalanche in Tampere, Finland, during the 2022-23 season. Who's booking their plane tickets?

Last week, newbie Nick Blankenburg tallied his first-ever NHL point, and this week it was Kent Johnson's turn. Congrats KJ, welcome to the club!

Speaking of Blankenburg, the defenseman from Michigan scored his first NHL goal for the Jackets on Sunday, AND it was the game winner! There were nothing but smiles in Nationwide Arena after this one.

These guys were on the ice at Michigan together just two weeks ago, and now, they are facing off on the big stage. Blankenburg and Johnson met former U-M teammate Thomas Bordeleau when playing the San Jose Sharks.
