Columbus Blue Jackets General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced three roster moves today that place the current roster at 26 players, including 15 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders.
The Blue Jackets placed left wing Marko Dano on waivers for the purpose of assignment to the Cleveland Monsters, the club's American Hockey League affiliate. Columbus has also assigned left wing Eric Robinson to Cleveland. In addition, the Jackets have released goaltender Hayden Stewart from his pro tryout contract.
The Blue Jackets open their 19th regular season vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday, October 4. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
