Merzlikins, 27, has missed the past three games with a lower body injury suffered at Chicago on February 17. He has posted a 18-13-1 record with a 3.42 goals-against average, .903 save percentage and two shutouts in 32 contests this season. The Riga, Latvia native is 39-34-14 with a 2.84 GAA, .914 SV% and nine shutouts in 93 career games with Columbus since making his NHL debut in 2019-20. The 6-3, 183-pound netminder was selected by the Blue Jackets in the third round, 76th overall, at the 2014 NHL Draft.
Greaves, 20, was signed to a three-year entry level contract with the Blue Jackets on February 20 and has served as the club's backup for the last three games. The 6-0, 170-pound netminder also has made his professional debut with the Monsters and ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings this season. He owns a 4-6-0 record with a 3.10 GAA and .898 SV% in 13 contests with the Monsters and is 10-5-0 with a 3.05 GAA and a .907 SV% in 15 appearances with the Wings. The Cambridge, Ontario native played for the Ontario Hockey League's Barrie Colts from 2018-20, registering a 20-27-5 record, 3.71 GAA and .899 SV% in 60 career games.
