The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned center Kevin Stenlund to the Cleveland Monsters, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, General Manager and Alternate Governor Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Stenlund, 25, registered three shots and two penalty minutes in three games with the Blue Jackets since being recalled from the Monsters on November 1. He made his season debut with Columbus on November 6 at Colorado. He has added 1-2-3 and four penalty minutes in seven appearances with Cleveland this season.
The Stockholm, Sweden native has totaled 11-9-20 with 22 penalty minutes and 105 shots in 71 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets since 2018, including 5-5-10 in 32 outings during the 2020-21 season. He has also recorded 22-26-48 and 44 penalty minutes in 106 career AHL games with the Monsters. The 6-4, 211-pound forward was selected by the Blue Jackets in the second round, 58th overall, at the 2015 NHL Draft.
