The 6-5, 196-pound netminder has posted a 2-11-1 record with a 3.10 GAA and .914 SV% in 17 career games since making his NHL debut in 2021-22. A native of Novokuznetsk, Russia, Tarasov is 11-7-3 with a 3.30 GAA and .887 SV% in 21 career games with the Monsters since making his North American pro debut at the end of the 2020-21 campaign. He was selected by Columbus in the third round, 86th overall, at the 2017 NHL Draft.
