"I'm excited to work with Jet's Pizza because I grew up with it. It's my way of having a slice of Michigan while living in Columbus," said Werenski. "This partnership is really the best of both worlds for me."
Locally, Jet's Pizza Columbus will host "Zach Gives Back" nights on the first Monday of each month, donating a portion of sales for every Zach Pak special sold that day to an organization of Werenski's choice.
"Jet's Pizza Columbus is honored and humbled to have Zach on our team," said Mike Couchman of Jet's Pizza Columbus. "Zach has a strong involvement in the community which is a big part of our culture at Jet's. We are excited to work with him and continue to give back to the community in which we live and work."
In addition to the partnership with Werenski, Jet's Pizza and the Columbus Blue Jackets announced a five-year partnership in 2020 as the National Hockey League club's Official Pizza Provider. The pizza franchise is the proud partner of the Blue Jackets' upcoming First Responders Night on Saturday, January 8 when the Blue Jackets host the New Jersey Devils.
"Jet's commitment to First Responders and the Columbus community was a big reason this partnership made sense. My father is a first responder and has, and continues to be, my hero and biggest supporter," added Werenski. "Working with a company that supports and recognizes the community that helped raise me is extremely important to me."
