The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed goaltender Daniil Tarasov on Injured Reserve retroactive to December 30 and added goaltender Jet Greaves to the roster on emergency recall from the Cleveland Monsters, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, General Manager and Alternate Governor Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. Goaltender Joonas Korpisalo is unavailable for tonight's game at Tampa Bay due to personal reasons.

Tarasov, 23, who has missed the past five games, is day-to-day with an upper body injury suffered in practice on December 30. He has gone 2-8-1 with a 3.40 goals-against average (GAA) and .907 save percentage (SV%) in 12 contests with the Blue Jackets this season. The 6-5, 196-pound netminder has posted a 2-10-1 record with a 3.18 GAA and .914 SV% in 16 career games since making his NHL debut in 2021-22. A native of Novokuznetsk, Russia, Tarasov is 11-7-3 with a 3.30 GAA and .887 SV% in 21 career games with the Monsters since making his North American pro debut at the end of the 2020-21 campaign. He was selected by Columbus in the third round, 86th overall, at the 2017 NHL Draft.
Greaves, 21, has posted an 18-18-4 record with a 3.18 GAA, .898 SV% and one shutout in 44 career AHL games with the Monsters since making his pro debut in 2021-22. The 6-0, 184-pound native of Cambridge, Ontario is 6-6-2 with a 3.69 GAA and .885 SV% in 15 outings with the team in 2022-23. He was signed by the Blue Jackets to a three-year, entry level contract on Feb. 20, 2022.
Korpisalo, 28, is 6-7-1 with a 3.10 GAA and .913 SV% in 17 games this season, including a 2-2-0 mark, 2.01 GAA and .941 SV% over his past six appearances. The Pori, Finland native has gone 82-74-22 with a 3.05 GAA, .903 SV% and three shutouts in 199 career NHL games with Columbus. He was selected by the club in the third round, 62nd overall, at the 2012 NHL Draft.
