Bayreuther, 28, has posted three goals and 11 assists for 14 points with 39 penalty minutes, 84 shots and a cumulative +1 plus/minus rating in 71 career games with the Blue Jackets and Dallas Stars since making his NHL debut in 2018-19. Signed as a free agent with Columbus on Oct. 9, 2020, the 6-1, 196-pound blueliner has totaled 1-8-9 and 29 PIM in 52 appearances over the past two seasons with the club. He set career highs in assists, points, PIM and games played in 2021-22, finishing with 0-8-8 and 22 PIM in 43 contests.
The Canaan, New Hampshire native has added 25-84-109, 120 penalty minutes and an "even" plus/minus rating in 220 career AHL games since making his pro debut at the end of the 2016-17 campaign. He has collected 0-3-3 and two penalty minutes in three outings with the Monsters in 2022-23.
