The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed forward Calvin Thurkauf to a one-year, two-way National Hockey League/American Hockey League contract extension for the 2020-21 season, club General Manager and Alternate Governor Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.
Thurkauf, 23, has collected two goals and an assist for three points with 18 penalty minutes and a +5 plus/minus rating in seven appearances with EV Zug in Switzerland's top professional league (NLA) in 2020-21. He made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets on Feb. 22, 2020 at Nashville and skated in three contests with the club during the 2019-20 campaign.
