CBJ trim 2022 Training Camp roster by four players

The Columbus Blue Jackets trimmed their training camp roster by four players, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. There are currently 33 players in camp - 19 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goaltenders.

The Blue Jackets placed F Brendan Gaunce on waivers for the purpose of assignment to the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League. The club also assigned D Ole Julian Bjorgvik-Holm and F Josh Dunne to Cleveland.
In addition, the club announced that F Owen Sillinger has been released from his tryout contract and has been returned to Cleveland on his AHL contract.
Columbus, which is 3-2-1 in preseason play, returns to action on Thursday when it hosts the St. Louis Blues. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET. The contest will be broadcast live on BlueJackets.com and the club's app and can be heard on Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan.
The Blue Jackets open their 22nd regular season at the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday, October 12. Game time from PNC Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
