The Columbus Blue Jackets and National Hockey League announced today a 2023-24 regular season schedule in which the club will play 82 games, including 41 home dates at Nationwide Arena. The team kicks off its 23rd NHL season on Thursday, October 12 against the Philadelphia Flyers at Nationwide Arena as part of a season-opening four-game homestand. This season's schedule will see the Blue Jackets play every team in the NHL at least twice. Columbus will play Metropolitan Division teams a total of 26 times, including 13 games at Nationwide Arena. The Carolina Hurricanes, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins will each visit Nationwide Arena twice, while the Washington Capitals will make a lone visit on December 21. The Blue Jackets will face teams in the Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division 24 times, including 12 at home. The club will play two home games each against the Boston Bruins, Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs, while hosting the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers and Montreal Canadiens one time.

Columbus will play its 82 games over 187 days with 45 games slated for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, including nine Thursday home games, six Friday home contests and 11 Saturday home games at Nationwide Arena. The Blue Jackets will also play nine games on Sunday, including three times at Nationwide Arena. November and March are the team's busiest months with 15 contests, while the club will also play 14 games in December. Columbus will host a pair of four-game homestands: October 12-20 (Philadelphia, the NY Rangers, Detroit and Calgary) and March 30-April 6 (Pittsburgh, Colorado, NY Islanders and Philadelphia). The team will play five consecutive road games on two occasions: January 23-30 (Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle and St. Louis) and March 19-28 (Detroit, Colorado, Vegas, Arizona and Pittsburgh). The 2024 Honda NHL® All-Star Celebration will take place in Toronto, Ontario at Scotiabank Arena from February 2-3.

The 2024 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend will include the 2024 NHL All-Star Skills™ on Friday, February 2, and the 2024 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, February 3.
