The Columbus Blue Jackets and Nationwide Arena will host the inaugural CBJ HockeyFest, in partnership with OhioHealth, on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Nationwide Arena, the organization announced today. The CBJ HockeyFest is part of the largest street hockey tournament in North America that will showcase 3-on-3 and 4-on-4 competition for divisions of all ages and genders.

The tournament will feature games played on 50 percent to scale NHL-sized rinks with boards, netting and referees. The event will include 3-on-3 divisions open for competitive and recreational youth (ages 9-17 with 9-and-under division a 4-on-4 tournament) along with recreational, intermediate, competitive and co-ed adult. Teams are guaranteed to play at least four games along with the chance to compete in playoffs. Roster sizes are set at a max of seven players (nine players for 9-and-under division).
In addition to the street hockey tournament, other activities during the two-day event include the hardest shot, mini stick rinks, shooting accuracy, music, live sports and more. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
Tournament participants will receive a Blue Jackets drawstring bag, swag bag, ticket to a game during the 2021-22 regular season and more. Early-bird team registration, which is open now through Tuesday, August 10, is $350. Pre-tournament team registration, which will last from Wednesday, August 11 through the start of the tournament (or until sold out), is $400.
