COLUMBUS, OHIO ---The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned left wing Sonny Milano to the Cleveland Monsters, Columbus' American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Milano, 21, has recorded five goals and five assists for 10 points with four penalty minutes in 28 games with the Blue Jackets. He has added 0-2-2 and an "even" plus/minus rating in four contests with the Monsters this season.
The Massapequa, New York native has notched 5-6-11 and four penalty minutes in 35 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets. He has added 32-53-85 with 46 penalty minutes in 131 career AHL games with the Monsters and Springfield Falcons since making his pro debut at the end of the 2014-15 campaign. He was the club's first round pick, 16th overall, in the 2014 NHL Draft.
