COLUMBUS, OHIO ---The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled goaltender Joonas Korpisalo from the Cleveland Monsters, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, Blue Jackets General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Korpisalo, 23, is 4-4-0 with a 3.10 goals-against average (GAA) and .904 save percentage (SV%) in nine contests with the Blue Jackets this season and is 27-20-5 with a 2.75 GAA, .913 SV% and a shutout in 54 career NHL games with Columbus. He has also compiled a 2-2-1 record with a 1.79 GAA and .944 SV% in five contests with Cleveland in 2017-18, stopping 153-of-162 shots faced. He is 17-18-6 with a 2.48 GAA, .913 SV% and two shutouts in 41 career AHL games with the Monsters. The native of Pori, Finland was selected by Columbus in the third round, 62nd overall, in the 2012 NHL Draft.
