COLUMBUS, OHIO -The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed center Zac Dalpe to a two-year, two-way NHL/AHL contract extension through the 2018-19 season, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. As is club policy, terms were not disclosed.
Dalpe, 27, tallied a goal and two assists for three points with nine penalty minutes in nine games with the Minnesota Wild and added 10-6-16 and 22 penalty minutes in 32 American Hockey League games split between the Iowa Wild and Cleveland Monsters in 2016-17. He notched 8-6-14 and 22 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Monsters after being claimed off waivers by the Blue Jackets on February 27, 2017.
