ROSTER-MOVE-HARRINGTON

The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Scott Harrington off Injured Reserve, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced.
Harrington, 25, missed the first two games of the campaign after suffering an upper body injury in a preseason game on September 28 vs. Pittsburgh. He tallied career highs in goals, assists, points and games played in 2017-18 with two goals and three assists for five points, eight penalty minutes and an "even" plus/minus rating in 32 contests with the Blue Jackets.
The native of Kingston, Ontario has posted 3-6-9 and 26 penalty minutes in 79 career NHL outings with the Blue Jackets, Toronto Maple Leafs and Pittsburgh Penguins. Pittsburgh's second round selection, 54th overall, in the 2011 NHL Draft, the blueliner was acquired in a trade by Columbus from Toronto on June 25, 2016.
