COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets join the National Hockey League in support of Hockey Fights Cancer by hosting the club's annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night in partnership with OhioHealth on Friday, October 27 when the Jackets host the Winnipeg Jets. During the game, several pediatric cancer heroes will be honored by participating in a variety of in-game experiences including an on-ice, pre-game introduction alongside the Blue Jackets. In addition, the evening will also include tributes to cancer survivors and those who are currently battling the disease.
In keeping with the NHL's message that the color lavender represents awareness for all types of cancer, the Blue Jackets Foundation will host the following fundraisers to benefit its fight against pediatric cancer.
Lavender Jersey Auction & Raffle: Players will wear lavender jerseys during pregame warmups. The complete set of authentic worn jerseys will be individually autographed by the respective players with select jerseys (Foligno, Bobrovsky, Werenski) up for auction and all others available through raffle. Mobile bidding and raffle sales open October 21 and run through the second intermission of the October 27 game vs. Winnipeg. Fans may text CBJAUCTION to 52182 or visit the page
