The 2023 NHL All-Star Fan Vote presented by Guaranteed Rate allows fans to select 12 additional All-Stars with two skaters and a goaltender for each division. The highest vote-getters by division then will be added to their respective All-Star rosters. Voting for the Fan Vote is open now through Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans can vote on NHL.com/Vote, the NHL app or via Twitter using #NHLAllStarVote.
Eligible players must have been on an NHL club's active roster as of Dec. 1, 2022. Any player not on the active roster due to injury or special circumstance can be added to the ballot if/when the player returns to the active roster. If a player is assigned/loaned to the American Hockey League or any other minor league team between Dec. 1, 2002 and 5 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2023, the player is not eligible unless the assignment is due to conditioning reasons. If a vote leader is disqualified after the close of voting, the next player/goaltender with the most votes in that division will be named to the All-Star team.
The All-Stars will take part in a three-game tournament, played in a 3-on-3 format, and featuring four teams representing each NHL division. Each division's roster consists of nine skaters and two goalies. Live television coverage of the League's midseason showcase includes the 2023 NHL All-Star Skills Competition presented by DraftKings, which will be broadcast live by ESPN and ESPN+ in the U.S. on Friday, February 3 at 7 p.m. ET. The 2023 Honda NHL All-Star Game® will be televised live on ABC in the U.S. at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, February 4.
