Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has been named the National Hockey League's First Star of the Week for the period ending March 31, the league and club announced today. Detroit Red Wings left wing Tyler Bertuzzi was named the Second Star, while Arizona Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper was selected as the Third Star. It marks the ninth time in his career that Bobrovsky has earned a Star of the Week accolade, most recently being named the Third Star of the Week for Feb. 18-24, 2019.

Bobrovsky went 4-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average (GAA), .966 save percentage (SV%) and two shutouts in four games last week, stopping 113-of-117 shots on goal. He made 26 saves in a 4-0 win over the New York Islanders on March 26, turned aside 26-of-28 shots in a 6-2 win over Montreal on March 27 and made 26 saves in a 5-2 win at Nashville on March 30. He capped the week with his NHL-leading ninth shutout at Buffalo on March 31 as he made 38 saves in a 4-0 win.
