ST. PAUL - Ivan Barbashev, who was recalled from the Chicago Wolves earlier this morning after Kyle Brodziak was placed on injured reserve with a right-foot injury, will make his NHL debut tonight when the Blues meet the Minnesota Wild at 7 p.m. (NBCSN, KMOX).
Barbashev will take Brodziak's spot on the fourth line in the middle of Scottie Upshall and Ryan Reaves.

"I know Scottie and Reavo and the way they've been playing. I'm just going to play the same way, play hard," Barbashev said. "If we play hard, it's going to be good."
Barbashev, 21, was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (No. 33 overall) at the 2014 NHL Draft. He ranks second on the Chicago Wolves roster this season with 37 points (19 goals, 18 assists) through 44 games.
"He's played awful well. He's earned the right to come up," Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock said. "We're not really sure what 'Barbie's' got other than he was a great player and has had a great season in the AHL. We'll see where he is and we'll adjust accordingly. We've got one excited player, and we've got two guys who are excited to take him under their wing and teach him how they want that line to play."

In other lineup news, Carter Hutton will remain in goal after posting a 34-save shutout against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday. Hutton has won three straight starts on the road, posting a 0.33 goals-against average, a .988 save-percentage and two shutouts.
"There are shutouts and then there are shutouts that are highly earned," Hitchcock said. "That was a highly-earned shutout (in Pittsburgh) and you have to reward that. Any coach has to reward that."
Dmitrij Jaskin will also return to the lineup, taking Nail Yakupov's place.
