In 2016-17, Blais played in 75 regular season games for the Wolves, posting 43 points (26 goals, 17 assists) and 58 penalty minutes. The Montmagny, Quebec, native was originally drafted by the Blues in the sixth round (176th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
