Blues assign Kyrou to Chicago Wolves

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have assigned forward Jordan Kyrou to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Kyrou, who was drafted 35th overall by the Blues in the 2016 NHL Draft, signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Blues on July 27, 2016.

Kyrou, 18, dressed in 66 regular season games for the Ontario Hockey League's (OHL) Sarnia Sting this season, leading the club and ranking sixth in the OHL overall with 94 points (30 goals, 64 assists). The 6-foot, 177-pound forward also posted three points (one goal, two assists) in four postseason appearances.
Overall, the Toronto, Ontario native has spent the past three seasons with Sarnia, accumulating 181 points (60 goals, 121 assists) and 62 penalty minutes in 194 regular season games. In 2015-16, he represented Sarnia in the CHL Top Prospects Game and earned a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
