Blues assign Pouliot to San Antonio

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have assigned defenseman Derrick Pouliot to the team's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Pouliot, 25, was signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 1, 2019. Originally drafted eighth overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2012 NHL Draft, the Estevan, Saskatchewan native has appeared in 20 games with the Rampage this season, leading all AHL defensemen with 18 points (four goals, 14 assists).
Overall, Pouliot has dressed in 202 career NHL regular-season games between Pittsburgh, Vancouver, and now St. Louis, collecting 48 points (eight goals, 40 assists) and 81 penalty minutes.
