Standings are accurate as of Wednesday morning.
Game 1: Blues at Oilers - Dec. 15, 8 p.m.
The trip begins with a tilt against the superstar-driven Edmonton Oilers. No. 4 in the Pacific Division and No. 1 in the Wild Card standings, the Oilers continue to be led by two of the best individual players in the game - Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
Game 2: Blues at Flames - Dec. 16, 8 p.m.
After trading away Matthew Tkachuk and losing Johnny Gaudreau to free agency, the new-look Calgary Flames see the Blues for the first time this season on Friday. The Flames sit just shy of Minnesota in the other Wild Card postseason spot, four points above the Blues.
Game 3: Blues at Canucks - Dec. 19, 9:30 p.m.
Led in scoring by Elias Petterson, the Canucks are the closest team to the Blues in the standings that they will face. Even in points but with a game in hand going to Vancouver as of Wednesday morning, a win on Monday would be a quick step up the Western Conference ladder.
Game 4: Blues at Kraken - Dec. 20, 9 p.m.
Rookie Matty Beniers has been a standout, propelling the Seattle Kraken into one of the NHL's surprise teams of the season so far. The Blues look to follow up their overtime win from early this year with another against the Pacific's No. 2 team.
Game 5: Blues at Golden Knights - Dec. 23, 9 p.m.
The Blues won their previous matchup in Vegas, holding star Jack Eichel scoreless on Nov. 12 to beat the top team in the conference. The long trip ends here, then the Blues will have three days off for Christmas before jumping right back in against the Toronto Maple Leafs at home on Dec. 27.
Though it is still early, a veteran team like the Blues knows the opportunity available - and they will do what they can to seize it.
