Blues recall Binnington, assign Ferraro to Wolves

ST. LOUIS - With Blues goaltender Jake Allen
leaving Saturday's game after 20 minutes
with an apparent injury, the Blues have recalled goalie Jordan Binnington from the Chicago Wolves.

Binnington, who was drafted by the Blues with their third round pick in 2011, played 51 minutes of preseason action this year, going 1-0-0 with a 1.18 goals-against average and a .958 save-percentage.
In addition, the Blues assigned forward Landon Ferraro to Wolves. The 25-year-old played in five preseason games, registering one assist.
