ST. LOUIS - Erik Foley, who was acquired by the Blues along with a first-round pick from the Winnipeg Jets in a trade deadline deal that sent Paul Stastny to Winnipeg, has signed a three-year entry-level deal with St. Louis.
The deal will begin with the 2018-19 season.

Foley will report to the AHL's San Antonio Rampage on an amateur tryout contract following a medical evaluation in St. Louis.
A third-round pick of the Jets in 2015 (No. 78 overall), Foley recently wrapped up this third season at Providence College, where he led the team with 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists) in 38 regular season games to earn Hockey First First All-Star Team honors.

In 110 career NCAA games, the 6-foot, 185-pound native of Mansfield, Massachussetts recorded 38 goals, 50 assists (88 points) and 79 penalty minutes. He represented Team USA at the 2017 U-20 World Junior Championships, where he helped his club capture a gold medal. Prior to his collegiate career, Foley spent a year with the USHL's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, where he was named to the League's All-Rookie Team in 2014-15.
Foley is the latest college athlete to sign an entry-level deal with the Blues. On Sunday, the club
signed college free agent Mitch Reinke and recent draft selections Nolan Stevens and Austin Poganski
to two-year entry-level deals.
