The St. Louis Blues honored the 13 U.S. service members that were killed in Afghanistan last August by featuring their names on special military-themed jerseys that were worn during pre-game warm-ups on Nov. 11 vs. Nashville.
After the game, the Blues will present the jerseys to the families of the respective fallen service members, including the
family of Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz of Wentzville, MO, who will drop the puck prior to the game

The remaining 13 sweaters are being made available to fans in an online raffle, with the proceeds set to benefit H.E.R.O.E.S. Care and the Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz Memorial Fund.
The raffle will close at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Thirteen raffle winners will be randomly drawn on Monday, Nov. 15.\
Fans can purchase raffle tickets by texting "BLUES" to 76278, or by visiting

after 10 a.m. Thursday.

Joel Hofer, 6. Ville Husso, 7. Colton Parayko, 8. David Perron, 9. Brandon Saad, 10. Brayden Schenn, 11. Oskar Sundqvist, 12. Vladimir Tarasenko, 13. Robert Thomas. For example, first raffle ticket drawn would receive Binnington's military jersey, second raffle winner receives Buchnevich's jersey, etc.
