The Blues try to get back on track Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center, where they will wrap up the regular-season series with the Minnesota Wild (7 p.m., NBCSN, KMOX).

THE MATCHUP

BLUES The Blues dropped their sixth straight game (0-5-1) on Sunday afternoon in Nashville. Jake Allen made 35 saves in a 4-0 loss, a game in which the Blues were held off the scoresheet for the second consecutive contest.
"I think we're a pretty frustrated group right now, having trouble scoring goals," Blues forward Kyle Brodziak said. "It's tough. We've got to find a way. Whatever it is we need to do, talk about it, work on things, we've got to find a way to be better."
"It gives Stastny an opportunity to go play in Winnipeg and also gives us an opportunity to continue down the path we're on with our younger players and prospects," Armstrong said. "It's a difficult situation and it looks really gloomy right now based on our last two games, but it only takes one great effort. If we have that great effort (Tuesday in Minnesota), we're feeling good about ourselves going into Wednesday night (vs. Detroit)."
With a win Tuesday, the Blues could climb back into a Wild Card spot.

WILDJared Spurgeon scored with 12 seconds remaining in overtime Sunday to help the Wild to a fourth straight victory with a 3-2 win against the San Jose Sharks.
Minnesota had trailed in the game 2-0 before Matt Cullen scored in the second period to jump start the Wild.
With the victory, Minnesota moved three points ahead of the Dallas Stars for third in the Central Division.
"I think it goes hand in hand with winning and confidence and knowing we want to keep that winning tradition at home type of thing," Wild Head Coach Bruce Boudreau told NHL.com after the game. "… I think the guys took that to heart, and I think probably the last two periods might've been as good of a two periods as we've played in a long time, especially because it's easy to get down when the goalie is stopping everything. I know some of our guys are frustrated because they're not scoring, but they're having Grade-A chances and they're working their butt off. It'll eventually come. It usually always does."
HEAD-TO-HEAD The Blues are 1-1-1 against the Wild this season, taking a 6-2 regulation loss in their last meeting on Feb. 6 in St. Louis.
Tuesday's game will wrap up the season series between the clubs.
The Blues have earned points in five straight games in Minnesota and have points in seven of their last 10 against the Wild overall.
