St. Louis native Logan Brown's first game as a Blue was one to remember.
Brown, who was acquired by the Blues during training camp in a trade that sent Zach Sanford to the Ottawa Senators, scored in the second period to help the Blues erase a 3-0 deficit in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win against the defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning.
"That was pretty cool. To come out with a win there, that makes it even better," Brown said after the game. "I might have smiled at my mom and dad (after the goal). I saw them in the corner there, so it was pretty special for all of us… It was a fun game to be a part of."

Brown was one of five St. Louis natives selected in the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft. He appeared in four seasons with the Ottawa Senators before being traded to St. Louis and started this season with the American Hockey League's Springfield Thunderbirds.

Brown's dad, Jeff, played for the Blues from 1989-94 and holds the single-season record for the most points (78) by a Blues defenseman. Jeff and Logan became the fifth father/son combo to play for the Blues, joining Bob and Brent Johnson, Mike and B.J. Crombeen, Basil and Phil McRae, and Peter, Paul and Yan Stastny.
"This is where I want to be, obviously," Brown told stlouisblues.com. "(After training camp), I went down to Springfield and we had a good team, it was fun. We were winning a lot of games, I feel like I found my game and got some confidence back. Now I'm just ready to expand on that here."
"I've been to countless (Blues) games growing up, and played for the AAA Blues," he added. "To wear the real Blues sweater, it was really cool and special."
