With a 3-1 win against the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night, St. Louis Blues Head Coach Craig Berube moved into sole possession of third in coaching wins with the franchise.
The victory was Berube's 154th behind the Blues' bench, which passed the legendary Brian Sutter (153) for third.

"Brian was a great coach and player, and I know him very well," Berube said after Thursday's win. "The Sutters are good friends. It's a big deal for me to be put in the same (class) as Brian Sutter.
"He really wanted me to go get it tonight," Berube added. "So I'm glad we got it done."

In four years with the Blues, Berube is 154-78-36, which is good for a .642 points-percentage.
As an interim head coach during the 2018-19 season, Berube lead the Blues from last place in the League in January to their first-ever Stanley Cup championship in June.
This season, Berube has already passed former Blues coaches Scotty Bowman (110), Andy Murray (118) and Sutter (153) in wins.
Only Joel Quenneville (307) and Ken Hitchcock (248) have won more.
