ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has signed forward Martin Frk to a one-year, two-way contract.

Frk, 28, played in six games last season for the Los Angeles Kings, scoring two goals. He also put up career numbers in the American Hockey League for the Ontario Reign. In 58 games, Frk scored 40 goals and added 33 assists for 73 points.
The 6-foot-1 forward was originally drafted No. 49 overall by Detroit in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He has played in 124 career NHL games with the Kings, Detroit and Carolina, while recording 41 points (20 goals, 21 assists).
