The Blues face the Predators for the fourth time this season tonight marking their final game of the 2016 calendar year. The Blues have lost two of three to the Preds thus far in 2016-17, including a 6-3 loss on Dec. 13 most recently. The series has been Blues dominated at Scottrade Center though, as St. Louis has won five straight and seven of the last eight in their barn. The Blues' advantage seems even more steep if you consider they have posted the fourth best home record overall thus far at 14-2-4, while Nashville owns the fifth worst road record at 5-9-2. The Predators will be hungry though, as they come in having lost three straight, including a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Blackhawks last night in Music City.

What to Watch
What will Robby Fabbri do as an encore? The 20-year-old sophomore became just the second player in Blues history to record a hat trick before the age of 21, joining Hall of Famer Bernie Federko. Fabbri has seen more than marginal improvement thus far this season as his 0.66 points per game average is well ahead of his 0.51 mark from his rookie season. Also watch for Alexander Steen, who with an assist, could hit the 300 assist and 500 point plateaus simultaneously.
