Kyrou picked up one assist and played 19 minutes and 17 seconds in the gold medal game, while Thomas played 15 minutes and 32 seconds.
Kyrou, a second-round pick of the Blues (No. 35 overall) at the 2016 NHL Draft, registered three goals and seven assists in seven games at the World Junior Championship. He led Team Canada in points and finished third overall in the tournament in that category.
Thomas, a first-round pick of the Blues last June (No. 20 overall), scored one goal and five assists in seven appearances.
Blues prospect Klim Kostin represented Team Russia and scored five goals in five tournament games and led his club in points with eight. Kostin also posted a plus-7 rating. The 18-year-old native of Penza, Russia was a first-round pick of the Blues (No. 31 overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft.
The Blues' 2016 seventh-round pick - Nikolaj Krag - represented Denmark and scored one goal and one assist in four games.
