Lindbohm undergoes shoulder surgery

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that defenseman Petteri Lindbohm underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder on Friday.
Lindbohm, who suffered an injury during a game with the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves earlier this season, will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.

Lindbohm's surgery was performed by Dr. Rick Wright at Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Orthopedic Center in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Lindbohm, 24, has dressed in 23 games for the Wolves this season, posting three points (one goal, two assists) and 21 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound defenseman was originally drafted by the Blues in the sixth round (176th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and signed a one-year contract extension with the club on Sept. 11, 2017.
For his NHL career, the Helsinki, Finland native has appeared in 40 regular season games, collecting three points (two goals, one assist) and 37 penalty minutes.
