ST. LOUIS - When lifelong Blues fan Mary Walkenhorst got in the car to leave for the Blues game Thursday she didn't know what would be in store.

Before the game against the Colorado Avalanche, Walkenhorst, her two nephews and great nephew were escorted to the SubZero Vodka Bar Club in Scottrade Center for a long line of surprises.
First, it was a gift of a Blues puck, fleece blanket and certificate to commemorate her first-ever game.
Next, "her man" - Brett Hull - would wander through the door and sign that very certificate.

"I like him better than any other player they ever had," Walkenhorst said. "I just like his way of doing things."
Hull also presented Walkenhorst with her very own Blues jersey - complete with her name on the No. 95 on it - and upgraded her Mezzanine Level tickets to seats on the glass.
Walkenhorst also met original Blue Bob Plager, Hall of Famer Al MacInnis, Blues Assistant General Manager Martin Brodeur and Blues Chairman Tom Stillman.
"Oh it was wonderful," Walkenhorst said. "It was wonderful meeting all of them. That was the best part."
