ST. LOUIS - Last season, Phase 1 of the improvements at Scottrade Center included a new, larger center-hung scoreboard and control room, all-new LED lightning, a state-of-the-art sound system, Theater Boxes, locker room upgrades and renovated restrooms.
This summer, Scottrade Center will get its most-noticeable upgrades yet.

Changes planned for the offseason include entirely replacing the seats in the Mezzanine Level and several new gathering spaces, along with new retail stores and food and beverage options to build on local favorites such as SugarFire BBQ, Hi-Pointe Drive-In, Byrd & Barrel and Lion's Choice.
"It will be significant," Blues President and CEO Chris Zimmerman said. "The concourse will be redone. We'll continue to bring in new St. Louis food options. This is the summer where you will really say 'this is a new building now.'"
Beginning with the 2018-19 season, St. Louis Blues fans and guests to other events at Scottrade Center will enjoy new "neighborhoods" on the concourse which will honor St. Louis' rich history, music, brewing and hockey itself. A new team store - almost twice the size of the current True Blues Authentic Team Store - will open on the Plaza Level along with a new retail store on the Mezzanine Level.

In addition, Club Seat holders and Glass Seat holders will get access to exclusive new clubs: The Rinkside Club (Glass Seat holders) and Pub '67 (exclusive for Glass Seat Row A ticket holders) will provide a private gathering space with a relaxed environment with food from chef-attended action stations, while the Clark Avenue Club will offer Club Seat holders a chance to socialize during intermissions and breaks in the action.
Club Seats on the north side of the building will be converted to Terrace Seats with tickets that will come pre-loaded with $25 for food and beverage offerings anywhere in the building.
Plus, because of the popularity of the Theater Boxes added last summer, a new all-inclusive space called The Ledge will feature table and box seating options.
